The Summer School is held at the Clairefontaine Centre d'Accueil on the Luxembourg/Belgian border, some 6 km from Arlon in Belgium and 20 km from Luxembourg City. It lies at the end of a secluded valley surrounded by forests and fields, within hailing distance of Luxembourg and just a little way downstream from the historic hamlet of Clairefontaine, site of the 12th century ruins of St Bernard's Abbey and the Chapel of Countess Ermesinde, one of the great figures of medieval Luxembourg.

The Centre itself has extensive grounds with lawns, trees, fountain and a brook while the building, a former boarding school attached to an 18th century abbey, has generous working spaces inside and out, refectories and plentiful sleeping accommodation as well as a very fine chapel.
