My Favourite Things (musical theatre solo singing)
I will be offering a solo song singing course over one weekend and during the week at times to suit each individual participant. Everyone will be invited to choose a song from Musical Theatre. Have you ever wanted to sing a favourite show song but have never had the opportunity to work on it? Is there a song that you would love to work on but are cautious about it because you think it might be too difficult? Is there a Musical Theatre song that has a particular connection with some event or person in your life? If you’d prefer for me to choose something for you, that’s fine; I will find something suitable for your voice. The sessions will begin with us working all together, then progress to individual slots.
3.3 hours per person (5 sessions of 40min) €115

Play Trails (immersive audio drama, (play)writing)
Imagine writing a play set in real locations, all within a short walking distance from each other.
Audience members follow the recorded play on headsets, in the very places each scene is set. This workshop will give participants the opportunity to explore this idea, by creating dramatic stories which follow a route through their own town or city. The writing could be drama, prose or a poetic reflection on the chosen locations.
Participants could then record their pieces and share them with the group.
People in different cities would be able to share their insights into their own places and also be taken on journeys in cities they may or may not know.
Exciting possibilities arise.
10 hours (4 sessions of 2 or 3 hours) €100
Sign-up for these courses will be available from October 22nd
