How much does it cost to attend the LEATSS course?

I have never been to LEATSS. How do I apply?
First decide whether you want to attend the Regular Summer School or one or more of the Intensive Workshops (you cannot attend both). Then select the menu item:

• Practical-->Applications-->Summer School-->New Students or
• Practical-->Applications-->Intensive Workshops-->New Students

What are the sleeping arrangements at Clairefontaine?
The standard package includes shared accommodation (two students to a room). It is also possible to pay extra for a single room (or single occupancy of a double room) but this is subject to availability.
Students can nominate the person they would like to share with. Otherwise the administrators will try to match people based on gender and age.

What is the best way to get to Clairefontaine?

• By car is very practical because Clairefontaine is only 10 minutes from the Brussels-Luxembourg motorway (E411) and there is ample parking at the centre.
• By train to Arlon (2½ hours from Brussels or 20 minutes from Luxembourg city) and then take a short taxi ride to the Centre d'Accueil.
• By plane to Luxembourg and then bus to Luxembourg city centre (Gare) where you should then take a train to Arlon. Lift sharing is often arrange to return students to the airport at the end of the course.

I have special dietary needs. Can these be accommodated?
The application forms allow you to state whether you want a meat or fish diet. The vegetarian option If you have more complex needs (for instance vegetarian, vegan or food allergies), please state this on the form. The staff will do their best to accommodate your needs but they cannot be guaranteed. There is a fridge in the canteen where students can store their own food and also a microwave.

I do not have a Euro bank account. How can I pay may deposit and fees when they are due?
UK banks now offer transfers SEPA transfers which cost only £4. Other countries may be more expensive. As an alternative, LEATSS, accepts payments by credit card (administered securely through PayPal™). There is no charge to the student for paying via credit card.
