George is the Associate Voice Teacher at London Academy of Music and Drama (LAMDA) and is a faculty member of Higher Education at Shakespeare’s Globe. He is former Head of the Voice Department at Italia Conti Academy of Theatrical Arts, Arts Educational School, Mountview, RADA Studios, Rose Bruford College, The Butterfly Theatre Company and coach’s professional actors in private studio. George holds a BFA from Adelphi University, diploma from American Academy of Dramatic Art and earned his MA in Voice Studies at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. George has taught extensively in the States at such professional theatres as: The Paper Mill Playhouse, George Street Playhouse, Pershiable Theatre Company, and the Huntington Theatre Company as well as private studio. Beginning as a professional actor, George has had the privilege to work with World-class artists during his career both as an actor and producer. Highlights include: A.R. Gurney (The Cocktail Hour), Arthur Laurents (Gypsy, West Side Story), Jack Klugman (TV’s The Odd Couple), Chita Rivera (West Side Story), Maria Aitkin (The 39 Steps) among others. Directly before moving to the UK, George was General Manager at the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston and the prior to that, Producing Director at the George Street Playhouse. George’s voice can be heard on UK Radio and Television through his ongoing work as a voice over artist.
