Jack is an actor, writer and director with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He trained at Italia Conti drama school, receiving a First Class BA Hons Degree in acting, and has since gone on to work through a whole range of mediums and styles.
Jack is still a working actor, having appeared on screen (Eastenders, Silent Witness) as well as on stage in a variety of roles (including opera and as part of his 5* comedy trio), and specialises in comedy, improvisation and devising.
As a director, Jack continues to work across a whole range of genres - including abstract, comedy, non naturalism and contemporary pieces - but also works in many forms. He often incorporates music and movement into his larger projects as a foundation to create the world and rhythm of a piece.
Jack directs large productions at many drama schools across the U.K. - including LAMDA and Italia Conti - and also teaches a whole host of lessons from Scene Study to Character Improvisation to Solo Story. He has also been a Head of Year for a number of years, and is highly experienced in pastoral care and support of individual needs.
Jack also writes, and is currently developing a comedy for Television as well as an adaptation of a short story for stage. Both pieces are in their production stages, and Jack remains involved creatively in both projects beyond the completion script itself - be that as director or as actor.
He has directed productions such as: A Monster Calls, Hangmen, Almost Maine, Private Lives, Tipping the Velvet, The Antipodes, Jerusalem, BallyTurk, There Is A War and One Man Two Guvnors.
